Invention #10 from the book of J.S. Bach’s
Two-Part Inventions Five-ified which have been metrically modified in favor of five by composer John Eidsvoog.
Bach’s original version of this invention was in 9/8 time, but John has added an 8th note to every bar, changing the 3 groups of three 8th notes to 2 groups of five 8th notes.
The result is a refreshing, remodeling of this famous 2-part invention in 10/8 time!
