Invention #8 from the book of J.S. Bach’s
Two-Part Inventions Five-ified which have been metrically modified in favor of five by composer John Eidsvoog.
Bach’s original version of this invention was in 3/4 time, but John has surgically removed a half beat from each bar, leaving us in 5/8 time.
One of Bach’s most famous inventions now clips along with a humorous limp. The result is a refreshing, remodeling of this invention!
